WHY I DO WHAT I DO

Because feeling seen and heard starts with who’s listening.

The Meaning

Voluntas Vivendi are two separate Latin words that are not often placed next to one another. Together they translate to willingness to live.

To me, it means the will to truly live life and not just exist. To live a full life.

As a Black, Queer woman who has battled through depression and bipolar disorder for most of my adult life, I feel like the will to truly live life is what gives you the courage to show up.

Voluntas Vivendi Life Coaching is a safe space where you get to show up as you are.

A place where you can be heard. A place where you can walk through the discomfort to get to the place of self discovery. A place where you can think clearly and create the life of your desire.

Welcome.

GET TO KNOW ME

Hi there! I’m Ludmia (she/her).

I’m a Professional Life Coach and at the center of my work is listening. Slow, attentive listening that creates room for people to think, speak, and be without pressure.

My lived experience does not position me as an expert on anyone else’s life, but it deeply informs how I listen, how I move through conversation, and the kind of space I know is possible when people are met with care.

For a long time, I lived in constant motion. I have a type A personality and spent years in go mode, driven by achievement, leadership roles, and productivity. Eventually, my mental health required me to slow down in ways I had not chosen for myself. Life asked me to take several seats and pay attention to what I had been pushing past.

During that time, I found yoga and began exploring personal and professional development work. Again and again, I was being invited to slow down and relate to myself as a human being, not a project. I completed yoga teacher training to deepen my connection with myself and to learn how to integrate mindfulness into my everyday life, not as a practice I performed, but as a way of being.

When I decided to become a coach, productivity coaching felt like a natural fit. It aligned with my type A tendencies and the skills I had built through years of leadership and responsibility. I knew how to help people organize, plan, and execute.

Then something shifted.

In 2025, many things changed, both personally and professionally. What stood out most was a growing sense that doing less and being more mattered. In my client conversations, I began to notice that the most meaningful moments were not happening in the planning or problem-solving. They were happening in the quiet spaces. In the pauses. In the moments when people were simply being with themselves, without pressure.

From those moments, clarity emerged naturally. Goals formed without force. Movement happened without pushing.

That is the work I offer now.

I create a steady, respectful space where listening comes first and where your thinking can unfold in its own time. This work is not about fixing yourself or becoming someone else. It is about being met as you are and having room to hear yourself more clearly.

If that resonates, there is space for you here.

LEARNING & GROWING

The Experience Behind My Work

Background

My work is informed by years in leadership roles within fast-paced, high-responsibility environments, where productivity, clarity, and execution were central. I understand the pressure to perform, move quickly, and stay in motion.

Alongside this, my lived experience as a queer woman navigating identity, belonging, and visibility has shaped how I listen and how I hold space. Combined with my experience navigating mental health and learning to slow down, this informs a grounded, human-centered approach to coaching that honors complexity, nuance, and care.
